Job Description

Salary: $65,000 - 84,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a Northwest Indiana resident who lives near Merrillville, Indiana, and we are not seeking candidates outside the State of Indiana.
• We prefer experience with phone systems, wireless systems, network devices such as routers and switches, and video surveillance systems.
• We strongly value direct experience with VOIP, fixed wireless, access control, and security camera systems.
• We prefer relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+.
• This is a full-time, in-person role at our Merrillville, Indiana office; it is not remote.
• The candidate must be able to commute to Merrillville, IN 46410.

• We conduct site surveys for prospective clients to prepare quotations for VOIP, internet, security camera, access control, and network infrastructure projects.
• We produce quotes in line with our company protocols and present proposed solutions professionally, including technical specifications, implementation steps, and quality controls.
• We configure and support network hardware, including routers, switches, ATAs, and other networking appliances.
• We troubleshoot complex network issues involving equipment failures, routing protocols, RF, bandwidth utilization, system performance bottlenecks, and other IT matters.
• We perform root cause analysis under pressure and communicate effectively with our team members, clients, and vendors.
• We monitor our network equipment in SNMP server systems.
• We process and open tickets and technical service requests, and we complete all required details before closing them.
• We bring system administration experience across multiple operating systems, including Windows Server environments and on-premise and cloud-based VOIP systems.
• We participate in an on-call rotation to support clients who need emergency after-hours technical assistance.
