Job Description

Becton Dickinson seeks a Mold Utility operator for its Columbus molding facility on a rotating C shift (6:00 AM–6:00 PM). The role involves quality testing, material handling, documentation, and equipment maintenance to support medical device production.

Responsibilities

Perform dimensional, functional, and visual quality checks on molded products per procedures
Document production data, defects, sampling results, and equipment stoppages accurately
Transport raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods using available equipment
Pack finished products, apply labels, and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, 5S activities, and on-the-job training of associates

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
2 years manufacturing experience if diploma not held
Proficient organizational and written/oral communication skills
Proficient math abilities
Basic or simple computer skills
Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment
