ABOUT THIS JOB THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ENLISTMENT IN THE U.S. ARMY OR ARMY RESERVE As a Bridge Crewmember, you'll help construct bridges and rafts to help Soldiers cross rough terrain, bodies of water, and barriers they might encounter in the field. You'll help create floating bridges and rafts from a boat as well as help combat engineers create safe crossings on land by building structures or demolishing obstacles. Skills you'll learn align with Construction & Engineering, Maintenance & Repairs, and Physical & Mental Strength. In addition, there are 47 nationally recognized certifications available to earn! REQUIREMENTS 14 weeks of One Station Unit Training, which includes Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training U.S. Citizen 17 to 42 Years Old High School Diploma or GED Meet Tattoo Guidelines No Major Law Violations No Medical Concerns BENEFITS The Army offers a complete package of benefits that not only supports you and your family but also helps you advance in your career.
